新锐奖获奖人 庞肖杰 庞肖杰,中国科学院植物研究所特别研究助理。庞肖杰主要研究绿藻、苔藓以及高等植物为主的绿色一系的光合电子传递调控的分子机制。以多样化的藻类资源为切入点,综合运用生物学、物理学与化学等多学科交叉的研究方法,首次提出“离子陷阱”模型,系统揭示了无氧发酵过程对光合作用与呼吸作用的影响机制,为理解光合生物中光合作用、有氧呼吸和无氧呼吸之间的化学偶联关系提供了关键证据。对深入理解光合生物基本生理过程及优化植物生长和固碳能力具有重要意义。同时,相关发现为未来通过合成生物学手段优化光合电子传递路径提供了新靶点与新途径,研究成果分别以第一和共同第一作者发表在Nature Communications杂志上。同时,主持主持4项国家级/中国科学院项目。 Xiaojie Pang is a Special Research Assistant at the Institute of Botany, Chinese Academy of Sciences. His research primarily focuses on the molecular mechanisms of photosynthetic electron transport regulation in green lineage organisms, including green algae, mosses, and higher plants. By leveraging diverse algal resources and employing interdisciplinary approaches integrating biology, physics, and chemistry, he has made significant contributions to the field. Pang was the first to propose the "ion trap" model, systematically elucidating the impact of anaerobic fermentation on photosynthesis and respiration. This work provides critical evidence for understanding the chemical coupling among photosynthesis, aerobic respiration, and anaerobic respiration in photosynthetic organisms. His findings hold profound implications for advancing the fundamental understanding of photosynthetic physiology and optimizing plant growth and carbon fixation efficiency. Moreover, his research has identified novel targets and pathways for optimizing photosynthetic electron transport chains through synthetic biology approaches in the future. His work has been published as the first and co-first author in Nature Communications. Additionally, he has independently hosted four national-level or Chinese Academy of Sciences research projects. |
